"Geeking Out with Wargaming at Sea" Tour

Our "Geeking out with Wargaming at Sea" cruise is an opportunity for Geeks to meet other like minded people and tabletop game while enjoying the luxury of a cruise vacation.  While we enjoy our cruise Geek Nation Tours will arrange several guest speakers that will be doing seminars on everything from how to build the perfect army list to how to prepare and display your army for the competitive tournament environment.  Also join us in open discussions on how to improve your painting skills and what to pack in your tournament case...

For those that would like to participate, the crew from Astronomi-con may put on an exclusive and private wargaming tournament.  For those unfamiliar with it Astronomi-con is Canada's premier independent gaming tournament.  Check them out at www.astronomi-con.com.  To join their tournament registration will take place on their site.  Please note that this is a separtate event and as such has to be booked with them.

The exact port of departure is still being determined, but will leave out of Los Angeles, San Diego or Vancouver. The tour is for both gamers and their spouses and children.  It's a “bring the whole family on a holiday and learn about miniatures too” tour - kind of a “cake and eat it thing”.  You get to game for 3 out of 7 days and the non-gamers get to put their feet up and hangout deck-side (without you bothering them). Details are being finalized but most likely the cruise will take place June 2011.
